PUMPKIN SPICE

Howdy Crafters ~  Fall is in the Air here - the colors will be bursting out soon and then - oh no! Here comes the SNOW.  However, Autumn/Fall is my favorite time of year so I am looking forward to visiting the apple orchard and enjoying the colors.

Beccy's Place has  a monthly challenge and when I saw the FREE - yes, FREE Sunflower paper I was very excited. Fits perfect with fall theme cards.

I found the pumpkin coffee cup from Beccy's place in my stash along with the sentiment.  I used MFT Fence die [this was the very first metal die I purchased way back when I started making cards] - and cut out a fence in brown cardstock.

The sentiment is from Beccy as well.  I used a stitched die to cut it out and a round stitch die for the Pumpkin coffee cup. I placed pop up tape being the circle pumpkin.

I added a touch of orange glitter to the small pumpkins and along the vertical pumpkin lines on the pumpkin.  A stitched rectangle die was used to cut a frame for the sunflower cardstock and I used a tape runner to adhere it to orange cardstock base I made.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a blessed day.

Coffee Friend Card

Beccy's place August challenge:  From Beccy: To keep things interesting, I like to add an additional optional element to the monthly challenges, and this month I'm challenging you to dig through your stash to find all those older items that have yet to be put to use. Drag them out, dust them off, and add them somewhere on your project!

From Gail Jean:

For this card I am using the Option from Beccy's challenge.
I found a cupcake metal brad, a tube of chocolate liquid pearls, and a friend sticker for the design of this friend card.

This card will be place on the gift to my friend Sharon [my son's mother-in-law] at our family Birthday dinner this Sunday.

The drink digital is compliments of Beccy's Place for this month's challenge.

I also used two different size metal tag dies, as well as a  metal rectangle stitched die for the coffee cardstock of the mat.

I have minimal vision as I type this,  so hopefully no typos.

I would like to enter my card in these two challenges:

Note from Gail:
I have been missing in action due to several eye surgeries.  I am praying I do not lose my eye sight as this has been a challenging journey for me these last few years.
In three weeks I visit my eye medical doctor for evaluation to see if vision improves  - if not - I am having another procedure in the right eye.

Regarding my left eye - I have another procedure coming up in October.

If you believe in God and prayer - please add me to your prayer list for complete healing for my vision. Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a blessed day. Gail Jean

Enjoy

I designed this card today using Beccy Image and sentiment.  A stitched round die and stitched rectangle arrow banner die were used to cut the image and sentiment.  The Sentiment is pre-colored by Beccy Place.

Stripped grey cardstock was used for the display of elements of the card and cut with a rectangle stitched die.

I adhered the top layer onto a manila color,  based card that I cut from cardstock and scored - size A2.  Thanks for stopping by. Have a blessed day.

Snowing Somewhere...

Howdy Crafters ~ I am on a roll using this fabulous gingerbread background cardstock for my Christmas cards.  I love, love this gingerbread print so much!

Beccy, over at Beccy's Place November Holiday Challenge -- encouraged us to make something that makes us smile. Day 30:  Click HERE

Well here it is!  A snowman on this fabulous Gingerbread paper.

This sentiment is so true in the Winter Months here in Michigan because... Yes, it is always snowing somewhere - in some city---- in Michigan in the Upper or Lower Peninsula!  BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

I am blessed to have  various metal dies in my crafting room. I used a stitched metal die  especially to create snowdrifts, which I cut out with watercolor paper and glued to the bottom of the card.

In addition, I have a Silhouette Die Cutting machine. I enjoy using it to cut paper craft items as well--- I used 3 Print N Cut digitals by Echo Park- Snowman, shovel, and sign on this size A2 card.

Foam Tape was placed behind the Snowman to give dimension.

This card makes me smile!

Day 15 M is for Mocha

* Echo Park animal winter cardstock- cut with a stitched A2 metal die

* Beccy's Place graphics - Cafe Elements - find them HERE.
It is a fabulous set!  And I am a coffee freak - and not ashamed - hehe

I printed and fussy cut the Coffee cup and Banner from the set. I also positioned the text from this set on the banner before printing.  Foam tape was adhered to the coffee cup to give it dimension.

I used a metal stitched banner die from my stash to cut another banner and stamped Christmas on the white cardstock banner - I also used a teal marker to add dots to the banner. I placed the banner at the bottom on the left side of the A2 card.

Bee Happy

Howdy Crafters - thanks for stopping by.  I downloaded this FREE water can with pots image over at Beccy's Place.  She offers a free black & white image + colored each month. Thank you Beccy.
I decided to color up the black and white image using Alcohol markers.  I am not an artist but I must say, I am pleased with how this turned out. I know, tooting my own horn here - LOL.

I also used three metal dies for this card - Stitched rectangle, stitched circle, and stitched banner die.  No sketch to follow - just my own layout of the card

Pop Up tape was placed behind the circle die - and I used a bee sentiment and stamp to finish off the card - added some yellow alcohol marker to the bee.
