Mickey Art Journal Album

Howdy Crafters ~ Finally~ I completed the Mickey Mouse Art Journal Album that was on my Bucket List ~ Some of these items I purchased several years ago to create this AJ - but you may know how it is - Life Gets in the Way or you just have one of those Brain Burps ~ So I am basically Happy How it turned out and Plan to create more similar Art Journal Albums in the future.

Girl Art Journal Page

Howdy Crafters - I am presently working on an Art Journal Album and here is one side of the page I have completed. I will be posting the finished product soon since I am so enjoying working on this project. Whoot! Whoot!

I have been created several types of Art Journal projects to give to my grandchildren and family and friends - my focus is using supplies from my craft room and providing areas for journaling.

Some of my art journals include paints, crayons, watercolors, etc. This one is going to focus on die cutting, embellishments, brads, ribbons, etc.

If you have not tried doing this type of art - I suggest you give it a try - it is addicting!! Loving it! Also provides a nice gift.  I have a Christmas ART Journal on my bucket list!

2 Personal Clear Stamps I ordered through Regina at the Cutting Cafe ~ O-FISH-ally and Unbelievable - Versafine Black Ink
Misti - bubbles[TH Distress Salty Ocean Ink] stamping from my stamp collection, as well as the hook[TH Distress Mowed Lawn] - I drew in the line for the hook with a Micron Ink Pen
I placed a google eye on the fish
The small envelope and tab insert are dies by  Sizzix
I found some bubble letters to spell SEA above the fish

This Coffee ~ Awesome!

Lori WSVG Cut card layout [Portrait die cutting machine]  and Karen B Coffee Cup Die [Cuttlebug] were used for this Art Journal Layout.

A rubber IO Stamp was used for the sentiment - and a Pink Marker to point to the coffee cup.

The sentiment was stamped with Pink Ink

The banner was cut twice
Pink Ink was used for sponging around the cuts
Gold brads were added for the flower layers

A pink Marker was used to add Polk-a-dots to the coffee cup charm cut that was added to the double layered label

When I first saw this free digital stamp download I thought of the movie Annie - I used a Yellow marker for the sun - and added a Die Cut Karen B coffee cup die in the middle.

The Cuttlebug & Die-Namics Stitched Rectangles and Stitched Banner Die were used to cut the layouts for the digital stamp

A Micron Black Ink Pen was used for the Music Sentiment at the top

Coffee Charms

Howdy Crafters - Loving these Coffee Charm die set, I whipped up a ton of these to add to future projects  ~ they take scraps of cardstock so they were very, very easy to cut a bunch at one time.

I used Kraft, Patterned, White Cardstock.
Inking was used on many of them - Scotch White glue for assembly of lids, hearts,  and whipped cream,

I like using clear cardstock to cut those rounded lids - Check out the blue one on the left and the corner right one - they look better in person!!

Markers for highlighting

Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy - and believe me I like Easy when it comes to making a ton of items. 

I still have more to create - hehe

Cutplorations COFFEE word die was run through Cuttlebug 

My Paper crimper was used on one for the coffee sleeve

Poppy Stamps Cecilia Flower and Cecilia Flower Outline Die Cuts
I cut the base Cecilia Flower Twice - added Scotch Foam Tape on bottom layer - placed the top layer solid Flower Cut on top
I colored the leaves and flower with Distress Ink - Green Grass and Fossilized Amber
Glue N Seal will used to adhere the top layer Cecilia cut to the double base
I used a light brown marker to color the stem
Stickles Glitter Gel was used on the flower
Memory Box Large Coffee to go Cup - Cuttlebug - all white cardstock
I used Green Grass Distress Ink for the cup sleeve and ran it through my crimper
Newtons Nook Bee and Sentiment stamps with Versafine black ink were stamped on the layout for this Art Journal
