Howdy Crafters - I am back to Bible Journaling. I am going to be creating my Bible Journaling in my Bible Journal[s] - I just ordered a new one, as well as in this Spiral blank page Journal.

My Pastor is preaching on 40 Days in the Word -emphasizing one Scripture to memorize each week.  My goal is to journal each scripture.

Howdy Crafters ~ Today I did a Bible Journal page based on a teaching this morning in church service by Tim Hobson, Pastor of Lamb Of God Fellowship

Tim's main message was on having a personal relationship with Jesus~God - not belonging to a "religion of rules & regulations."

If we understand that the BIBLE is our manual for how to live on Earth... we have Joy in life and are willing to obey and following the instructions God has for mankind.

In the Book of Mark

The Pharisees burdened the people with their interpretation of  "Keeping the Sabbath Day Holy" with ridiculous rules.

Mark 2:27 - Jesus said, "The Sabbath was made to meet the needs of people and not people to meet the requirements of the Sabbath, so the Son of Man is Lord, even over the Sabbath."

Mark 3:1 -2 reads, "Jesus went into the synagogue again and noticed a man with a deformed hand.  since it was the Sabbath, Jesus ENEMIES watched him closely. If Jesus healed the man's hand, they planned to accuse Jesus of WORKING on the Sabbath."

A question Jesus asked [but the Pharisees did not answer him] " Does the law permit good deeds on the Sabbath or is it a day for doing evil?".... Jesus healed the man's deformed hand.... 

At once the Pharisees went away and met with the supporters of Herod to plot how to KILL Jesus.

Howdy Crafters - I started a NEW Bible Study on line that Robin Sampson is offering for FREE [$20 value] - it comes with stickers, notes, printable[s] and this study is self-paced - [If you have not signed up you can sign up here.] This class is FREE - she gives you a coupon to sign up. :)

Instead of using my Bible for Journaling, I am using a Spiral notebook and adding notes as I read and learn, and stickers and such for the artistic Journaling  - Robin is using a Planner and provides sheets for anyone that wishes to do the same - there are several videos and step by steps once you sign up - do not get overwhelmed - take your time -- that is what I am doing:)

Howdy Crafters - I got inspired by Kerry CLICK HERE  to visit her blog and Bible Page - to do a coffee page in my Bible for the Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop - Bible Journaling is not about being perfect in doing art - it is about growing closer to God as you experiment with different mediums in your Bible Journal - it is being forgiving of self if things do not turn out as you planned - it is knowing that you took time to spend with God and you LEARNED something from HIS Word. 
My critique is: I think the next time I will use less Acrylic Paint - 
 However, I am thankful I took the time to read God's Word, focused on passages, and created as I went along. Thanks for dropping by and have a blessed week! Psalms23:5b - My cup overflows with blessings :)

Howdy Crafters - My Bible Journal Page is a reminder that there is a spiritual force of demons lurking around to get me to turn away from God.

Did you know that satan was a created angel and wanted to take over God's throne? Due to PRIDE he allowed himself to fall away from the Glory of the Father.

Humans are so blessed because we have a PLAN for redemption - unlike fallen Angels - the Angels were with GOD in the beginning of their creation but no redemption plan was made available for them if they chose to turn their back on God.

I am so thankful that I was called out of Darkness into His Marvelous Light. I am far from perfect - only Jesus is perfect - yet when we Confess with our Mouth the Name of Jesus, repent of our sins and turn to follow Jesus we have access not only to the Father but to the blood of Jesus to cleanse us each time we fall - we serve an Amazing God.
