Tin Foil Tag Tutorial
by Gail Scott

Supplies:
Recycled cardboard
Mod Podge and Brush
Reynolds Wrap or other tin foil

Embellishments of your choice
Embossing Folder of your choice
StazOn Ink or Alcohol Inks

Instructions:
Tag - I cut the recycled cardboard using a Tim Holtz tag die to make my tag
This is optional - scissor can be used to cut the size of your cardboard tag
This tutorial can also be followed to make a card tin foil mat or to die cut embellishments

Lay the tag on the right side of the tin foil
Brush both sides of cardboard with Mod-Podge

Fold Tin foil over to cover cardboard completely
Smooth out tin foil
Allow to dry overnight or at least 15 minutes - 1/2 hour
before embossing -- to prevent oozing of the glue

Trim off excess tin foil with scissors

Punch a hole in the top of the tag - I just had to re-punch where the hole was previously in my pre-cut tag

Select an embossing folder - insert tin foil tag inside and run through your embossing machine

This is the front of the tag after it was run through Cuttlebug

This is the back of tag after it was run through Cuttlebug

I rubbed Forest Green StazOn Ink on the back of the tag - Optional to ink the back

I used 2 different colors of  Stazon inks  - I used the Brown first and then the Forest Green on the front of the tag

Here is my Finished Embellished tag - Featuring: Marks Finest Papers In my Garden Frog  Stamp and Spring Things Sentiment and Butterfly Stamp
