Howdy Crafters - A Blog Named Hero is having a monthly Vellum Challenge. I think this is the first time I have stamped on Vellum. I do not use Vellum very often in my creations - however, my DIL gave me a package of vellum for my Birthday so this worked out wonderful for me to create for the challenge. In addition, I just received this NEW Hero Stamp & Die Butterfly Stamp set in the mail - so I wanted to try it out. Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed week - Gail
Recipe
White cardstock for base of card
TPC Designer Patterned cardstock for mat
DCWV Vellum for Stamping, Small Butterfly [die cut] - Coffee Cup and Sentiment
Hero Arts Stamp and Cuts Butterfly collection - the Butterfly has two layers - one is Polk-a-dot butterfly and the other is the lined butterfly - I was able to do the double stamping using the Misti Stamping Too
Gina K Black Ink and Colorbox Blue Ink
Spectrum Noir Marker to color the center wings
Butterfly body is a stamp and die cut from the Hero Arts Butterfly collections set
Sentiment is from the Hero Arts Butterfly Collections- I adhered the sentiment I stamped on Vellum to a scrap of cardstock and added some faux stitching and cut the vellum into a banner
The coffee cup that was stamped on Vellum was fussy cut and I added glue where the dark lines were stamped on both the coffee cut and die cut small Butterfly vellum
Pop Up tape is behind the larger butterfly
Funny Bones Rubber Stamp Coffee Cup die - Gina K Black Ink
Ribbon and bow - using Bow It All
