Howdy Crafters - I so love my balloon stamps from QKR Stampede - it has been awhile since I created a card using one of my balloon stamps.

I am giving this card to my sweet husband who is going through a journey with stage 3 cancer.  Although my heart is broken, I will Praise God through this Storm.

A Christian Song I have been listening to this week that has given me encourage through my Christian walk as husband's caregiver ~ the inspiring song is by Mercy Me called "Even If"  - Click Here to Listen and view the words on screen.

The sentiment inside this card is also a rubber stamp by QKR - I like the chuckle it provides to both of us
during this journey on Earth. Laughter is a good medicine ~ there is Always HOPE. Thank you Jesus.

Guest Designer Crop Stop

 Howdy Crafters
I am happy to be the Guest Designer today for Crop Stop. It is always an honor and blessing to create for a Blog Challenge. If you have not entered the challenge at Crop Stop - stop on over and join in on the fun - thanks for stopping by and have a blessed week ~ Gail ~

Here is what I created

Recipe
White cardstock was used for the base of the card - the first mat is black cardstock. A MFT Blue Print die with a rounded shape on one end created the second mat for my card. I embossed the pink cardstock using Darcie Large Dot Embossing Folder and running it through the Cuttlebug Machine. A strip of burlap was adhered to the left side of the card using Scotch Quick Dry Tacky Glue.

The Button is a die by MFT - I used Kraft Cardstock for the button  and ran  Burlap Natural String through the holes, then took another piece and created a bow to place behind the button - the button was adhered to the car with Scotch Quick Dry Tacky Glue - I distressed the button and the pink mat with TH Brushed Corduroy Ink using Rangers Blending foam and tool.

I tucked a Tim Holtz Mover & Shapers Tag behind the Poinsettia  Petaloo Flower [which was attached with Scotch Foam Mounting Tape] - I flipped the inside of the tag from the Kraft Patterned Cardstock to stamp the sentiment by MFT Clear Stamp using TH Brushed Corduroy Ink. I adhered the  Tim Holtz idea-ology Thrift Shop Butterfly under the Poinsettia , using Scotch Foam Tape.

A Cuttlebug Key die was run through the Cuttlebug Machine using Black Cardstock and adhered to the mat using Scotch Foam Mounting Tape, after I placed strips of Washi Tape on the mat. A Metal Brad was placed through the hole of the tag. 3 Coffee colored skittles were glued to the mat using Scotch Quick Dry Tacky Glue.

The pink mat was adhered to the black mat using Scotch Quick Dry Tacky Glue and then the combined mats were adhered to the card base using my ATG with adhesive.

Watercolor ~ Day 1

Howdy Crafters - I stumbled across the MFT Stamp Camp Create yesterday ...I  thought "What fun!" Thankfully, I had time to created and complete all of the challenges before the June 22 deadline ~ Happy Dance!~ There are great You Tube Videos to watch which will explain the technique for each challenge- I loved watching the demonstrations, learning, and then creating my own project - It has been awhile since I have done some water-coloring by taping down the watercolor cardstock first - and I am happy to have had the time to get this card created.
