Inlay Shaker Card

Howdy Crafters - I watched a video today on how to create an Inlay Shaker technique - CLICK HERE to see the video by Nicole on the MFT DT.  2 photos in this posting

This is my first time ever doing an inlay shaker card - not difficult, rather fun! - thanks for dropping by - blessings, Gail

Recipe
White cardstock for base of card
Black Cardstock behind Shaker
Scotch Mounting Tape for shaker
MFT - Painted Prints Citrus Paper
MFT - Star Shaker Frame Die Cut - Cuttlebug
MFT - Cool with You Stamp and Die Cut - Penguin, Tree, and Sentiment Stamp - Misti - Versafine Black ink - Markers for coloring
Shaker Items: I doubled up the left over Painted Print Citrus Paper so I had 2 sides then cut out stars and hearts using MFT Star Die from Blue Prints #11 and MFT Heart Die from Blue Prints #32 Die -  added green and blue sequins I purchased from MFT store
On the acrylic I used Stazon Green Ink and stamped stars from the Home from the Holiday Stamp Set

I was inspired to created by

  1. Super cute! And great job on your first attempt at this technique! Great tip about adhering the papers together so you can have pattern on both sides of your little "confetti" die cuts! I'll definitely keep that in mind. Thanks for playing with Jo's Scrap Shack.
