Watercolor Autumn

Howdy Crafters - I am using Pearlescent Watercolors [orange, rust, brown, blue, yellow, green]  to brushed on the watercolor to the card front. [The Cuttlebug machine was used to make 2 die cuts using Spellbinders Rectangle Dies- black and white cardstock]

I used a brush to paint watercolor on the card before stamping the image. I dried the watercolor with my heat gun and then placed the water colored cardstock in my Misti to stamped the background image using Gina K Black Ink [MFP stamp image - forest with a  fox - the fox is where the circle area watercolor on the lower left right of the card]

The Pearlescent Watercolors have a shine to them - thus my Glitz.  

I added an Autumn Sentiment Stamp at the lower right corner under the Fox.

The ATG was used to adhere the Spellbinders Rectangle die cuts cuts to the card base in layers.  Thanks for dropping by - blessings, Gail

The sparkle is not showing up very well in my photo - I have a portion of the lower  light green shot that I feel is showing some of the sparkle - however the entire water color is glitzy in person. Here is the close up photo:

Best Friends

Howdy Crafters - Here is a technique I learned recently - take a stamp - use Versamark Embossing ink - stamp it on watercolor paper - then get out those watercolors and start coloring. Add Distress inks along with the water colors if you wish- I created my own background with water colors as well... I am liking these two girlfriends - arm in arm taking a walk toward the lake [yes one is in jeans and the other is wearing a dress]  ~ thanks for dropping by - blessings, Gail

Watercolor ~ Day 1

Howdy Crafters - I stumbled across the MFT Stamp Camp Create yesterday ...I  thought "What fun!" Thankfully, I had time to created and complete all of the challenges before the June 22 deadline ~ Happy Dance!~ There are great You Tube Videos to watch which will explain the technique for each challenge- I loved watching the demonstrations, learning, and then creating my own project - It has been awhile since I have done some water-coloring by taping down the watercolor cardstock first - and I am happy to have had the time to get this card created. Howdy Crafters - I was excited to discover I won a WRMK Envelope Punch Board on a blog hop - Thanks to the Queen for this lovely prize! Click here to visit her blog -   this puppy does more than just create envelopes - and Laura, the queen uses it to create snack holders.
