Howdy Crafters ~ I picked up this Gem over at My Scrapbook Chick during their Dollar Sale.  I am not sure when the sale ends - there is also a cool freebie!

Cloud Card

 

Howdy Crafters ~ Created this card with Dies and Beccy's Images.  Saw a video on how to use my KB Cloud die to make layering clouds and adding Distress Ink. I followed the front layout into the inside with just a bit of change on the die cuts and height of the grass.

The 3 Beccy's Images are the Sunflower, Fox, and Norman the Gnome - I brought the images into Silhouette Design Studio and made them print n cut images then cut them out using  my Portrait.  On the front I put Foam tape behind each image.

The Vagabond cut my dies - KB Clouds, the Grass.  This is a general card in which I would write a message on the back - or possibly add a sentiment.

Bedtime Bear

 Howdy Crafters - I picked up this Bedtime Teddy Bear at QKR Store.  I colored him up with markers and added pop up foam behind him. He was cut on the Portrait. 

I used two dies for the mat: MFT for the scallop mat and Lawn Fawn for the Stitched Rectangle Mat. The plaid cardstock is by Echo Park.

Hey There Pumpkin!

I created this Fall card using a free digital provided for entering the August Progressive Challenge From the Heart Blog.  The background paper is The Paper Studio, I Rather Be Hunting Stack.

I wanted to try something new so I inserted this leaf back paper in my Sizzix Fall Fence Embossing folder and ran it through the Cuttlebug. I used Brown and Orange Loew Cornell Pastel Chalk to go over the embossing - and even though it is hard to be seen in this photo - it shows up much better viewing the card in person.

I have been having so much fun with my Pop Up Scallop die from Sizzix designed by Karen Burniston. I have had this die for many months and one of my crafting goals for 2014 is to start being intentional by using my dies, stickers, stamps, cardstocks, and the like in my creations. Sometimes, I forget what wonderful items I have been blessed with to use in crafting .... so if you have been stopping by you have already seen several Pop Up cards using this great die.

My card creation today can fit several themes - winter, Christmas, Valentines Day, or Just Because. I really like the versatility of this type of card. I am not sure if some challenges will accept a versatility card - and that is OK if it does not qualify - I enjoyed making it and I will abide by the decision of the blog challenge.

My camera is showing my cardstock(s) a bit darker then what my colors really are - so please take that into account when viewing my card. It really is on the softer pastel side of the color wheel.

I created this tag to enter in the Impression Obsessions Blue Challenge. I just discovered this challenge and since I recently purchased some Impression Obsessions dies I decided to create a tag. I will say that the IO dies cut very nicely through my Cuttlebug and I am happy with each set I have in my collection. They are thin American Steel dies at a reasonable price.
