Textured Paste Tag

 Howdy Crafters -I have used textured paste [see recipe below the posting] with a stencil to create an Igloo for my scenic tag.

Recipe for Tag
Textured Paste and Hero arts Stencil - white cardstock

I fussy cut the textured paste stencil to represent an Igloo - Finn, the Penguin is sitting in front of his Igloo home drinking hot cocoa under the snowflake Clouds

Finn Digital Stamp - A Wink of Stella on the beak and stockings - Brought into Design Studio and made into a print n cut - cut out with my Portrait Die Cutting Machine 
Poppy Stamps Stitched Border Die - Cuttlebug for the snow in front of the Igloo - Scotch Mounting Tape behind the Snow and Clouds, - Fiskars Punch for the Clouds and Snowflake Christmas Cardstock
Misti - Merry CHRISTmas Sentiment I ordered custom ~by Regina Easter at the Cutting Cafe Shop- Versafine Black Ink =- Spellbinders Circle die cut for the Golden Moon
Blue metallic ink and sponge for the sky
MFT - Die Namics Stitched Tag Die - ATG

Recipe for Texture Paste
1/2 cup of baking soda
2 Tablespoons of Elmer's White School Glue
1 Tablespoon of Acrylic white paint - can add more
Mix and store in a class jar
Use on project and recommended to dry over night before using



When making the paste you can add more paint or glue or water to get the thickness you desire -

  3. Will have to give this texture paste recipe a try. I use spackling paste bought at Home Depot which costs less than Tim Holtz Texture Paste that I had and the TH Texture paste dried up in container making it unusable and having to waste what was left if not used in a quicker amt of time.
