Chalk Ola!

Howdy Crafters -
I have some exciting news today - Anuj, the founder of Chalkola.com invited me to evaluate her new product Chalk Ola Markers. Anuj was generous to ship 2 different set of Chalk Ola Markers and one package of Chalkboard labels. Here are photos of the products I received:

NEW PRODUCT
Self-adhesive labels - a variety of sizes
This is a family own business that sells their product on Amazon.
I will be using the products for several projects and posting them, right here on my blog.

My first project is a Valentine Tag. Here is my finished tag:

There are a variety of shapes in the Chalkboard Label package - [more chalkboard label creations coming soon] - which are self-adhesive. The Chalkboard Labels are a nice quality and I give them an A+

I used the Chalk Ola RED 5.5 mm bullet tip marker to draw a heart and write I love U on the chalkboard label. I love this bright red color and it works beautifully with the chalkboard label. The ink flows smoothly and because it is water base ink - if you make a mistake, just wipe it away and start again.

I allowed the tag to dry overnight before taking the photo. Here is the second photo after I used a baby wipe to remove the heart and writing.

Although the writing on the tag and heart removed completely notice I got some ink accidentally on the cardstock. I tried to remove that using the baby wipe but it is staying.Ah ha!  So, now I will use this marker on the cardstock to review those results. That will be a test coming soon.

In addition, the chalkboard label was easily removed from the tag as well as re-positioned on my tag - see  photos:
Chalkboard label removed

Chalkboard label re-positioned

Notice that I put the chalkboard label in a different position on my tag to cover up the ink mistake  - that is pretty cool - don't ya think?

In conclusion - I am impressed with the ease of using the marker on the chalkboard label, I like that the chalkboard label is self-adhesive as well as the ability to re-position the chalkboard label in a different area.

PLEASE NOTE: The only caution using the markers for a  paper crafter if the crafter is wanting a permanent ink solution for the chalkboard label. Never-the-less, these are two great products.

Thank you readers for stopping by and Look for a NEW posting of my next project and evaluation. In the meantime, here are some links to visit and read about Chalk Ola markers and products and there is a discount available for my readers - check below.

Information from Anuj:
Two important points about Chalk Markers:
1) The Markers are used on Non Porous Surface only (So its best to test a small area)
2) Chalk markers as a medium have high density Chalk Ink, due to which New markers take 2 to 3 mins prep time – Once used the ink flows smoothly.
These markers can be used on any Non Porous Surface (Like Chalkboard, Windows, Labels, Canister, Paper etc). The Pens are water based - Wet wipe and can be erased easily using wet cloth.

Thank you for stopping by and have a blessed week. ~ Gail ~
