Chalk Ola Project #2

Howdy Crafters - if you have been following my blog you are aware that Anuj from Chalk Ola Markers invited me to test her product. Click HERE for my first posting with photos and writings about my first project using Chalk Ola products.

For this card I am using the colors, Red, Pink, and Black Chalk Ola Premium Wet Wipe Markers 5.5 mm on cardstock.  The colors are bold, bright and brilliant!

First, I took the Pink marker and added dots all over my DCWV Designer cardstock.  I used the TH Magnetic Arrow die through my Cuttlebug to cut out an arrow using white cardstock I purchased at Sam's Club. I drew a heart in the lower left hand corner of my card using the Red Marker. I then added more color to the heart with the Pink marker - the blending gave a nice touch!  I used the Black marker to draw my arrow.

I finished off my card with a White heart die cut using TH Heart Magnetic die and Docerella Sentiment stamp. A strip of Pink Gross-grain ribbon cut into a banner was placed on the card with 2-way tape.

Evaluation - I like the idea I can use the marker to create dots on my cardstock - I like the look of this added to my designer cardstock. I also like how smooth the ink flows to draw a heart and for coloring the arrow. I think you will like these type of markers for crafting.

More project coming soon.

I hope you will check out the Chalk Ola Markers which come in various sizes. I also wanted to mention that when the red marker ink got on my finger tips from coloring the arrow but it easily washed off with water!  This markers would be great for kids to use due to the was-ability and no odor smell from the markers either!!

Thank you for stopping by and have a blessed day  ~ Gail ~

Information from Anuj:
Two important points about Chalk Markers:
1) The Markers are used on Non Porous Surface only (So its best to test a small area)
2) Chalk markers as a medium have high density Chalk Ink, due to which New markers take 2 to 3 mins prep time – Once used the ink flows smoothly.
These markers can be used on any Non Porous Surface (Like Chalkboard, Windows, Labels, Canister, Paper etc). The Pens are water based - Wet wipe and can be erased easily using wet cloth.

It would be an honor to share with these challenges
