Using Cardboard - You Can Make It - Recycle

Hi Bloggers - I have been on a "recycle that cardboard kick" today. I have a ton of cereal boxes, Kleenex boxes, etc. that I have saved, as well as others have saved for me. It is time to start using cardboard in my crafting because my room is overflowing!

Tonight, I created a Christmas card using mostly recycled cardboard and die cuts. My Christmas card was created as a Decorated Package.

Here is my recipe:

Kashi Cereal Cardboard for my mat
White Cardstock for the base of the card
A Scrap of Stripped Paper glued to the cardboard mat
Kashi Cookie Cardboard (the actual cookie shown on the box) for the Gingerbread die cuts by Quickutz
Kashi Cereal box cardboard for the Qickutz Holly, Trees, and Merry Christmas Die cuts
Spectrum Noir Markers to color the Holly and Trees
Recollections Glitter Gems for the Berries
Blue Ribbon I won at a blog challenge
Easy Peasy, Lemon Squeezy

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

  2. Wonderful way to recycle cardboard. Like the people die cuts. I keep a bag of cardboard and like using it for die cuts or to add sturdiness.
