Welcome Crafters -I received this sled die this week in the mail - I remember having a sled like this when I was a kid [well 7 of us had to share it] and it was tattered and worn so I tried to re-create that look using chalk, markers and ink - I think it turned out old looking - thanks for stopping by and have a blessed week ~ Gail ~

Oh my goodness, your sled looks amazing! I thought it was purchased, not homemade. It looks perfect and you definitely got it to look antique. Beautiful gift tag. Thank you for playing along with DRS Designs this week!

Wow! I love that sled! What a great die! Your tag is awesome! Thanks for playing along with us at Scrapy Land Challenge #31!
ReplyDeleteThis is super cute! That sled die is gorgeous and the way you colored/distressed it really DOES make it look old and worn. My parents had a couple of these sleds when I was a kid, too. Thanks for playing with CHNCC2.
ReplyDeleteGail- Very cute sled and love the colored/distressed - it makes it 3D or pops out. Love the trees in the background and sentiment. Gorgeous tag. We still have these sleds around - maybe antiques now. Thank you for sharing your beautiful tag with us at Scrapy Land and can't wait to see your next gorgeous project with us soon.
