ReplyDeleteI like to still have a map of sorts even with GPS. We belong to AAA and get the Triptik maps prepared for us when we vacation. Funny story about maps that I recall is when I was co-pilot of a single-engine Grumman American plane that friend owned the map I had flew out the plane and we literally flew by landmarks. We took off from Melbourne, FL and flew to San Luis Obispo, CA. I recall stopping at small airport that is here where I live and another airport in Deming, New Mexico.
