Shabby Chic Lace

Howdy Crafters - here is my second Shabby Chic/Vintage card in which I created by lifting from another vintage layout I created. This Vintage/Shabby Chic card has an OPEN window where lace is glued inside to the back of the mat- fitted to cover the die cut opening. I do like the look of this card and I enjoy this open window layout.
My crafting style usually is not shabby chic or vintage but I am liking this layout and the use of laces, clothespins, hearts, and other items. This is for my friend Jan. Happy Birthday Pastor Jan - I love you to pieces and may God Bless you with many more!
Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed week.  Gail

Recipe
DCWV Lace Cardstock
Spellbinders Rectangle die to cut 2 rectangles in right side of the card --
HINT - cut the mat and the card base at the same time using the rectangle die so they match up when assembling the card - that is what I will do for my next card - I just thought about that :)

Stretchy Lace on left side of card - another gift from Karen L - thank you Karen - my favorite

  3. I remember you saying, just a few cards ago, that you don't really "do" vintage or shabby chic, and now you're pumping out all these fabulous creations full of gorgeous lace and beautiful vintage-look embellishments. Good on you for jumping out of your comfort zone Gail, your cards are fabulous!
    Cheers,
    Beccy
