Paper Purse

Howdy Crafters:
I created this Cardstock Purse. The purse can be used to slip a small gift inside along with a card or several cards with matching envelopes can be made and insert - then given as a gift.

While I was creating this purse, I created a card and envelope to match. I have included the links to the tutorial below.  I did tweak the Purse by not adding ribbon, but rather adding scallop circles for handles to the purse. [I am a bit off with my circle cut, but that is OK - it is my first one and this works for me.]  Have a blessed day and thanks for stopping by!

Recipe
Tutorial by Katie Tate - this card creation has a table cloths setting in the middle of card - scoring was done at the top of the card to fold it in half and two scores of 1 1/2 inches for the table cloth. There was also a scoring fold under the table cloth as part of the card base.

Tutorial by Katie Tate - scoring was at the top of the card so it could fold in half - under the tables cloth a score as well as 2 scores for the tablecloth to attach to the card.

scoring was done around the box base and then sections cut out at the bottom to create the folds to hold the box together - a score was done at the top as well to bring over the flap - no scoring at the sides, just bend the cardstock in to create the folds.
