Here are photos of how I created my Coffee Cup Card & Envelope- Size A2. Enjoy! Gail
Please note - this idea for me to create this card is from watching Lorri Heiling video on You Tube on how to make a Coffee Cup Gift Card Holder- to view her video - click HERE.
Supplies [see photo directions following this supply list]
Scor-Pal or scoring tool
Cardstock of your choice
Glue
Ruler
Embellishments - twine, ribbon, buttons, etc.
Embossing folder - I used Swiss Dot - A crimper can also be used.
For base of card 9 1/2 by 3 5/8 cardstock |
Score in half |
Place folded end on Scor-Pal - with pencil mark dot on 3 inch mark - flip over and do the same on the other fold |
Use a ruler and draw from tick mark a diagonal line to top of the card - do same on the other side - CUT off to create cup shape for the coffee card |
Diagonal lines cut off cardstock |
Cut your middle piece for the cup 4 1/4 x 3 and lay on top of the cup front |
Middle piece positioned where I want it on the cup - flip over and draw lines to trim excess off the middle piece |
Lines do not have to be drawn if you can trim without doing so - so this is optional |
Add ribbon or Washi tape - etc to middle |
Glue middle section on the front of the card base |
Embellish as desire - add more die cuts with sentiment, etc. I add twine and a button |
Top of cup - cut one piece 4 inches by 1 inches and a center piece for the top 4 inches by 1/4 inches |
Round the corners of the top piece on one length only - emboss or run through a crimper - glue the 4 x 1/4 inch piece in the middle - see the next photo |
Front of card completed - glue a matching piece of Washi tape on envelope if you wish |
Inside of Card - white cardstock measures 5 inches by 3 inches - make tick marks at 1/2 inch on both sides |
Show tick marks and using a ruler to draw diagonal lines to trim off- then glue down inside of card |
I added Happy Halloween Stamp and Die cut Lamp-post inside this card |
