Welcome and thank you for stopping by:
I discovered a Watercolor blog challenge through Diane M blog. We are now on week 2 at the Watercolor 101 challenge - using the Watercolor Salt technique we learned from last week to embellish/focal point.
I am by no means, an artist - nor have I had any art lessons- other than the required Art class in college which was basically learning about Art/Artist. However, I am finding this Watercolor challenge a fun and creative idea for crafting.
For my card creation - I made the watercolor salt technique on paper and then cut two strips - one to represent Sun and Sky and one to represent dirt and grass. I used a Bicycle Embossing folder on my grungy green cardstock. I also cut a portion of the watercolor salt finished technique from my paper to first emboss and then to trim and fit in the area of the basket for the bicycle. I added some twine and called my card - finished. :) Thanks for visiting and have a blessed day.
If you wish to LEARN this technique -there are links to videos on the blog - Click HERE.
