CH 70 FOSTV Challenge Tissue Paper

Welcome to my blog! A new challenge is beginning at Friends of Speedy TV (FOSTV) today (Monday) at noon ~ Tissue Paper

The rules of the challenge: make a card [limit 5]for the theme of the week and upload within the time frame of the challenge. You can use any stamp set that you would like. If you use a Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co stamp set your name will be entered twice.

Recipe for this card
MFP Rain Cloud Stamp Collection
TPC Cardstock for the base of the Easel Card
Umbrella handle color with a Spectrum Noir Marker
Scrap of white with yellow circle paper for the mat
Yellow Tissue Paper
Pop Up Tape Forever in time
Recycled cereal box cardboard is at the base strip for stability
Striped Blue Washi was placed on top of the cardboard strip
There is space inside card to write a private message.

How I used my Yellow Tissue Paper:
1. I stamped the umbrella and rain boots on white cardstock using Memento black tuxedo ink
2. I used Rangers Glue and Seal to spread a thin layer of glue on the top of each stamped image (this glue comes with a brush)
3.  I lightly pressed the yellow tissue paper on the stamped images
4. I  trimmed around the images
5. I placed several pieces of  pop up tape behind both images - remove the backing and place on card. 

I just made this technique up,  so I am not sure if there was a tutorial on the Internet to do this type of procedure. I wanted to see if it worked and it did! I love my bright yellow umbrella and boots!
