Paper Piecing Spring Easel Card

Remember the song, Rain, Rain go away, come another day? Or this saying: April Showers, bring May Flowers? Rain is always a sign that Spring is coming or Spring is here! - at least to me.
Today's card features Paper Piecing. Click HERE for a tutorial on Paper Piecing.
 I am using Mark's Finest Paper Rain Cloud Stamp Set for this creation.
I stamped the Umbrella and rain drops on a Die Cut Sizzix Frame - then I took scraps of paper and stamped the Umbrella on the scrap pattern pattern papers. I cut portions of the rain drops and trimmed around the top of the Umbrella only from the pattern pieces - these pieces were then glued to the stamped images on the frame.
Spectrum Noir Markers were used to color the handles of the Umbrella, the knob at the top of the Umbrella and portions of the raindrops.  
Hawaiian Blue Ink by PowerPuff was used for distressing. 
The sentiments are included in the Marks Finest Paper Stamp set and Memento ink was used to stamp them on scraps of bright green cardstock.
I created this Easel card using scraps of paper and cardstock. Kraft Cardstock was used on this card.
