Mini Album 1

Welcome scrappers!

Here is a mini album I completed. My next posting will have the second mini album I have completed. These are ready to be given as Journal Writing Gifts to friends and family.

This mini album was created using recycle envelopes - I used the envelopes I receive in the mail with bills. My hubby does his paying mostly on line - so I get a ton of envelopes each week! I merely covered the envelopes with crafting papers to create pockets for mini albums.

Click HERE for a music video demonstration for creating a Mini Album. I basically did the same thing in this video, except I put each envelope in a cover of paper and then stacked my envelope and glued them together to create my mini album.

It takes time to create mini albums but it is well worth the effort. I usually create my base mini album first and then start adding various embellishments, completing a page or more each week. - if I get ambitious, I will take an entire day to create a couple mini albums.

The mini album posted on this page has various free downloads of digital printable. Here are some of my sources from the Internet; Sweetly Scrapped, Free Vintage Digital Stamps, and Creativity Prompt.


I also create my own tags using Tim Holtz Tag and Bookmark die cut - or sometimes I use pre-made tags I purchased in the clearance bin at various stores.  I like to use my stamps on tags. There is a picture below of a stamped tag I created for this mini album.

I use a ribbon for closure or a belly band has been used as well. Either will work on a mini album.
