Dr. Seuss

I remember reading Dr. Seuss books to my son Benjamin as he was growing up. We have a wonderful collection which we now share with our grandchildren. It was fun creating this card for Cut It Up this week - Dr. Seuss Inspired Challenge. [my die cut is inside this card - a nice bow using Di-Namics Bow and Ribbon die cut - I just love this die!]

I will be entering this card in Sentimental Sunday as well as several challenges that are listed below that I believe fit the requirements. Come join me in your crafty creation as well!

RECIPE
White Cardstock for the base of the card
Black cardstock by Colorbox for the top Mat Embossed with Cuttlebug folder Argyle
White cardstock for the Dr. Seuss Cat in the hat saying with JPG found on the Internet under Free Image search
Smash Black and White Polk-a-dot tape
Embroidery Thread - two wraps on card
3 Glitter Rhinestones compliments of Simon Says Store - my Bling
Inside Card - Die Cut Bow by Di-Namic Die - using scrap of Red and White Polk-a-dot Paper.
Space to write sentiment (this is one of my favorite die cuts - I really feel it was a good investment)
Black Micron pen to doodle around inside of card for sentiment to be written

    My daughter also liked Dr. Seuss books. Like that paper bow. I need to ck into getting one. Then I'd have the ribbon & paper bow making going on.
